The leadership of the Social Democratic Party SDP on Monday, expressed great delight for having the former Governor of Kadun, Malam Nasir El-Rufai to its fold ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party described him as an energetic politician which would make the Party platform soar to the skies.
This was contained in a short reaction of the National Secretary of the SDP, Dr Olu Agunloye to the defection of the one-time Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja from the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to the
Dr Agunloye said that the Party
leadership would quickly start to reconcile the ambitions and aspirations of the former governor and his team with the developmental programmes, manifesto and the ideological goals of the Party so that, with El-Rufai, the SDP platform may soar to the skies.
