The reports on the investigation into revenue leakages through the Remita Platform and non-compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and other allied service level agreements have been laid before the House of Representatives.
The report was laid by the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts, Rep. Bamidele Salam (PDP-Osun).
Resolution on the motion was referred to the Committee in November 2023.
Also, during Wednesday’s plenary, Rep. Salam laid two other reports.
According to him, the Report of the Committee on Public Accounts on the annual Report of the Auditor General for the Federation for the year ended 31st December 2019 (Part 1) Non-compliance and Internal Control Weakness Issues in MDAs pursuant to Order 20 Rules 6 (2)(i) of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives.
The third report laid was on the Annual Report of the Auditor General of the Federation for the year ended 31st December 2020 (Part 1) Non-compliance and Internal Control Weakness Issues in MDAs pursuant to Order 20 Rules 6(2)(i) of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives.
The three reports, as well as the recommendations of the Committee, are to be gazetted for consideration at the instance of the House Committee on Rules and Business.
