I am a 40 year old musician and I have a serious eye problem. I am having diminishing vision in my two eyes. The problem which started with the right eye last year has now moved to the left eye. In addition, if I look ahead, I often see something like stars in my view. Kindly let me know what to do about this since I am getting worried about my sight.

From your complaint it is obvious that you definitely have an eye problem which as you rightly observed, is a serious one. Apart from the possibilities of a refractive eye problem which can be corrected with the use of eye glasses, you could also have high pressure in your eyes (Glaucoma) or ulceration of the main part of your eye called Cornea. At this point, the best thing will be for you to see an eye specialist at a Specialist or Teaching Hospital nearest to you for an urgent attention.
