This is to formally draw the attention of the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Muhammed Adamu, to the sudden mysterious and quite worrisome disappearance of a one-year old baby boy, Eninlaloluwa Gold, at the children section of a popular Akure, Ondo State-based church, “Sotitobire” on November 10, while his parents were worshipping in the church hall.
The missing baby boy was handed over to certain officials of the children section of the church by his mother before she joined other worshippers in the church hall but the hapless mother was confronted with the sad reality of the disappearance of the said baby when she went to the children section of the church to pick him up after the church service.
After all efforts to trace the boy and reunite him with his parents had failed, the incident was reported to the police in Ondo State. It is, however, disheartening to note that no concrete step has been taken on the matter by operatives of the Ondo State police command more than a month after the boy’s disappearance as no arrest has been made.
Since nothing seems to be coming from the investigations, there is need for the police authorities at the Force Headquarters Abuja to urgently take a drastic action on the matter in the interest of the corporate image of the police as an organization.
The disappearance of the boy has caused his parents, particularly the mother untold psychological, mental and emotional trauma which has almost taken an adverse toll on her health.
The boy’s mother could be reached on 09066034902 by the police authorities to shed more light on the incident if the need arises.
The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu, is implored to please use his good offices and ensure that the missing boy, Eninlaloluwa Gold, is brought back alive and reunited with his distraught parents without further delay.
