Public and private schools in Oyo State are expected to resume academic activities on Monday, September 16, for the 2019/2020 academic session, the Oyo State government has said.
In this vein, speaking on behalf of the government, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Dahud Shangodoyin, appealed to the parents and guidance to be alive to their responsibilities, which would make the children become valuable assets to both the parents and the government.
Shangodoyin, however, reemphasised that the present administration is working assiduously to bring back the glory of education in the state, just as he enjoined all teachers to partner with the Governor Seyi Makinde-led government to achieve its goals in educational development.
