Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) and other groups of artisans in Ondo have hailed the emergence of members representing Ondo East/West federal constituency in the green chamber of the National Assembly, Honourable Abiola Makinde, as the Director-General of the campaign council for the election of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The group of artisans in a statement signed by Comrade Olaoye Olalekan and made available to journalists on Thursday, described the choice of Makinde as Director-General of the campaign council as step in the right direction noting that Makinde’s vast experience in the political landscape of Ondo State will come to bear in the mobilisation to electorate before and during the election.
It further stated that the governorship election slated for next month would witness a massive turnout of the electorate as Makinde is a renowned grassroots mobiliser.
The group assured Makinde and Governor Aiyedatiwa of maximum support, adding that a good number of members will forever remain grateful for the support enjoyed by Honourable Abiola Makinde as well as Governor Aiyedatiwa.
