Omisore to present paper at Sierra Leone institution of engineers biennial conference

THE former deputy governor of Osun State and erstwhile chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Iyiola Omisore is billed to present a paper at the biennial conference of the Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers, Freetown scheduled to hold between 27th and 29th of June, 2018.

The theme of the conference is “Role of ICT in Sustainable National Development” and potential sub-themes of papers to be presented include automating engineering processes, re-engineering and crowdsourcing: Can it work for Africa, benchmarking Sierra Leone’s ICT policy, cybersecurity, future of telecommunications in Africa, among others.

According to the letter, authorised by the acting executive secretary of the Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers (SLIE), Engineer Olalekan Taiwo, the decision to request presentation of papers by Omisore and other lead speakers, who are reputable engineers at the conference was informed by their immense contributions to the engineering industry in their respective countries and African continent.
