Nigerians have urged Rose Idibia, mother of popular musician Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba, to call her son to order and leave Natasha Osawaru, an Edo State lawmaker, out of the controversy surrounding their alleged relationship.
Tribune Online reports that in a viral video on Thursday, Rose Idibia pleaded with Nigerians to beg Natasha to stay away from her son.
This came after a video surfaced online showing 2Baba proposing to the Edo lawmaker.
In reaction, many Nigerians on social media insisted that the musician, not Natasha, should be held responsible for his actions.
On Facebook, Mazi Nworie O. Theola commented Theola reacted, “Call your son to order madam. Were you not there when he started having babies from different women? You probably didn’t inculcate in him the right societal values. Call your son to order and free Natasha.”

Another Facebook user, Ariefe Igho-Peter wrote,” Call your son your order and leave the lady out of it.”
Ade Woleola added, “Madam go and talk to your son and allow us deal with our own problems. If the next thing in the agenda of your son is taking another woman that is his own problem. Many Nigerians lack the energy to look for women to marry because of the economy while your son is changing them like rapper. Is his life of following women new to you why don’t you train him well when he was younger not to make knack for women a priority? Leave us alone to find what we will eat.”
Similarly, Oreruan Hon Collins Dare said, “It should be the other way round, it’s your son 2baba that should “free” Natasha to find her own man that she’ll settle down with in marriage. Not someone with 7 children from 4 baby mamas and still counting.”
Another user, Akhamiojie Imona Mfr, advised, “Madam calm down, and call your son to order.
“Natasha didn’t force herself on your son, beside Edo people re surprise when Innocent was found in Anthony Enaharo complex at king square in Benin city, as if he went on an excursion to the complex.
We re one of the best tribe in Nigeria pls….”
Az Leo Man advised, “Mama abeg leave your son alone ..he is not a child..he is a grown up man and knows what is right for him.”
“😆 is she holding him? She should go and pray for her son that wouldn’t stay one place”, Hiya Hephzibah Joseph wrote.
