
HOW to tackle the growing rate in criminal activities in Nigeria will take the centre stage on Monday, November 26 when forensic experts will gather in the Edo state capital of Benin.
In a statement in Benin yesterday by Dr Eddy Ehikhamenor of the (Forensic Research and Development Centre, FORDEC), he said that the first ever scientific conference on combating crime in the country will be declared opened by Governor Godwin Obaseki.

The conference which holds between November 26 and 28 will also attract academic egg heads and other stakeholders.
Among those expected at the conference which has as its theme “Combating Crime in Nigeria: Forensic Science to the Rescue” include Dr Richard Somiari, Chief Executive Officer Lagos state forensic and DNA Centre.
Others are Chief Judge of Edo state, Justice Esohe Ikponmwen, Edo State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Â Dr Christopher Adesotu, Edo state Police Commissioner, Mr Johnson Kokumo among others.
