In continuing with her decision to take a more leading role in the elimination of issues surrounding the day to day living, as well as actively leverage her influence in the improvement of the quality of life of the average Nigerian, top Nollywood actress, producer and film-maker, Nse Ikpe Etim, has teamed up with Landshop Limited, a subsidiary of Revelation Properties, to contribute to reducing the housing deficit in Nigeria, whilst preserving the environment through the provision of cost-effective, genuine, Greenfield real estate projects across Nigeria.
According to her, ‘At a time when Nigeria has a housing deficit of 20 million units, this couldn’t have come at a better time, as it is has become highly imperative that all hands be on deck to ensure that the barrier of ownership is lowered for each and every Nigerian”.
Landshop, a platform that enables Nigerians to lay claim to ownership of land and landed property for as low as N833 per month (terms and conditions apply), making it possible for everyone across the country to own and develop their own piece of landed property, and open up otherwise locked and undeveloped areas for economic activities and infrastructure, thereby contributing to the development of Nigeria as a whole through the empowerment of its most vulnerable group.
According to its top officials at the signing ceremony, “Landshop is also concerned about the protection of the environment and reduction of global warming, and has thus partnered with Eco-restoration Foundation to ensure that every tree that is taken down is replaced by a new one in areas where they are in operation, whilst also keeping the Nigerian coastal lines clean and preserving the marine life therein”.
Speaking at the unveiling, Nse Ikpe Etim revealed that this partnership is the first of many initiatives and strategic alignments she is embarking on to alleviate poverty amongst Nigeria’s most vulnerable group and will tie into other activities she has planned, which will be revealed in the coming weeks; “It is time that we all stood together to assist those Nigerians who need a hand in the provision of a roof over their heads, and also ensure that the playing ground is levelled for everyone, especially Nigerian women, to own their own houses”, she said.
She also revealed her excitement at taking part in the reduction of the effects of global warming in Nigeria by ensuring that the environment, especially marine life, is taken care of. Nse Ikpe Etim will be the face of the Landshop brand and will be actively involved in Landshop’s activities, which may include activations, publicity, sales, etc.
