ipNX, an information, communications and technology (ICT) company, has reiterated the importance of robust broadband infrastructure in enabling digital innovation across Nigeria’s creative industry.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Head of Sales at ipNX, Akintunde Taiwo, said this in a statement on Tuesday.

“We are seeing a shift where connectivity is no longer just a support service but a backbone for industries that rely heavily on digital platforms,” he said.

Taiwo explained that reliable internet service was now needed to support activities such as live streaming, sound and video coordination, and other digital elements used in modern productions.

According to him, stable connectivity helps production teams work smoothly, especially during live events where any interruption can affect the entire performance.

He added that more events were now being watched both physically and online, increasing the need for strong and consistent internet services.

According to him, beyond their traditional role, the company sees itself as a partner in progress, supporting not just businesses but also sectors such as entertainment where digital tools are becoming more important.

Also, Founder of the Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria, Sarah Boulous, said dependable internet access has become essential for delivering quality productions.

She noted that good connectivity makes it easier to stream events and include digital features that improve audience experience, both at the venue and online.

Boulous added that partnerships between telecom companies and creative groups would continue to support growth and innovation in Nigeria’s creative sector.
