The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise has reached the final stage, directing candidates to complete the remaining procedures ahead of the next phase.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, A M Jibril, Maj Gen (Rtd.) on Wednesday, the Board said the recruitment portal would remain open from October 28 to November 14, 2026, urging eligible candidates to complete the required processes within the stipulated period.

Candidates who have been successful at the previous stages are expected to review their uploaded documents and personal information on the recruitment portal to ensure that all details are correct before proceeding.

The Board also directed successful candidates to select their preferred screening state and location from the available options on the portal and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

After completing these steps, candidates must visit the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) portal to register for the mandatory substance abuse screening and select their preferred date and time for the exercise.

The Board stated that the final results for candidates who successfully complete and pass the screening would be communicated through the official recruitment portal after the exercise concludes.

The statement reads, “The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to inform all candidates that the 2024/2025 Recruitment Exercise has reached its final stage. Candidates are therefore advised to carefully note the following instructions to ensure a smooth and successful completion of the process.

“1. ACCESS TO PORTAL: The recruitment portal will remain open from 28th October to 14th November 2026. All eligible candidates are encouraged to complete the required processes within this period.
