The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kebbi State Command during the week rewarded twenty officers and men of the command for their hard work.
Speaking during the presentation of the award at a colourful ceremony at the agency’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, the state Commander, Alhaji Rabiu Abdullahi Sokoto, stated that the award would encourage the officers to be more productive in the discharge of their duty.
Sokoto reiterated that in line with the leadership style of the Chairman of the agency General Buba Marwa (Rtd,) every quarter of the year, names of hardworking personnel were drawn from all the state commands to the National headquarters for award of excellence and that was why states key into awarding the deserving personnel.
He said, hard work deserve commendation and he believes that any officer who needs commendation should work hard as the award presentation would be an annual events.
While commending the officers of the command for hard work and dedication to duty, the Commander challenged them to redouble their efforts in the fight against drugs in the state.
