One of the season’s highlights has been the impressive vocal prowess of many contestants. From soulful Afrobeats ballads to energetic Afrobeat anthems, the talent pool has been deep. The judges, Cobhams Asuquo, Sasha P, and Vector, have provided invaluable mentorship, offering constructive criticism and words of encouragement that have helped the contestants grow and evolve.

Each finalist has showcased exceptional talent, captivating audiences with unique musical styles. From Accolade TMP’s energetic performances to Blakk’s soulful vocals and Clement Daniel’s vibes, the competition is fierce.
The decision of who will be crowned the ultimate winner rests with the viewers and judges, as they prepare for a thrilling showdown.
Beyond the music, the show has also offered a glimpse into the personal journeys of the contestants, making it easy for audiences to connect with them on a deeper level. Their stories of resilience, determination, and dreams have been inspiring, adding an emotional dimension to the competition.
Judge Cobhams Asuquo has been visibly moved by the exceptional talent displayed by the top contestants. Addressing them with a sense of urgency, he emphasized the historical significance of their moment, stating, “You’re making history right now, and Naija Star Search is a crucial chapter in the Afrobeats story. This is your chance to seize the spotlight. You’ve demonstrated extraordinary abilities, but it’s time to leave behind the amateur label and become the stars you’re destined to be.”
“Whatever the outcome is on Saturday, I feel great and very happy because, in addition to the fans I have before, NSS season 2 has exposed me to a bigger audience. The grooming and criticism from the judges have also polished my creativity. If I emerge as the winner, the N20 million will help launch my career on a global stage. If I don’t, I will gather what I have learnt, put them together and give it a boom to my career,” Alaye Baba, Fela’s Afrobeat prodigy and one of the top five contestants said.
As the finale approaches tonight, anticipation is building. Who will emerge as the ultimate Naija Star Search champion?
