I have been treating my pile with drugs for the past one year with some improvement. My only problem is that anytime I am constipated, my pile bleeds. Kindly help me to know what to do about this.

Straining or passing a particularly hard stool can damage the surface of a hemorrhoid, causing it to bleed. Blood from a hemorrhoid will look bright red on a piece of toilet paper. A bleeding hemorrhoid is usually a sign of irritation or damage to the wall of the hemorrhoid. This should resolve on its own over time, but there are several things you can do at home to speed up the process and soothe any discomfort. Take a sitz bath. This involves soaking your anal area in a few inches of warm water. For extra relief, you may add some Epsom salt to the water. Next, try to soften your stools to keep your digestive system in good working order and reduce your risk of further irritation or damage to a bleeding hemorrhoid: Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to avoid constipation. Try to gradually add more high-fiber foods into your diet, such as whole grains, vegetables, and fresh fruit. This can help to prevent constipation and irregular stools. Take a stool softener. If you’re constipated, try taking an over-the-counter stool softener. Maintain daily physical activity. Staying active tends to lessen constipation. If you’re still noticing blood or a lot of discomfort after a week of home treatments, you may need to revisit your doctor for additional treatment. If your bleeding hemorrhoids are larger or more severe, your doctor may recommend more advanced treatment, such as more extensive surgery.
