The group said this during an interaction with newsmen in Awka, yesterday, where there stated that, “Obiano’s style of governance has made Anambra State a home for all and sundry irrespective of their religion, ethnicity, political leaning and social status.”
Obiano According to them, besides the fact that he accommodates other tribes in his cabinet, all his social welfare schemes, infrastructural development programmes and security facilities are well spread and evenly distributed.
The women who stated this in Awka commended Governor Willie Obiano for all his good works in the state which they said has uplifted the economic fortunes of the state as well as the provision of adequate security.
In her part, the leader of the Muslim women in the State, Alhaja Khadijat Olahan, who eulogised the wife of the Governor Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano for her care, support and love for women and children in the state irrespective of their religious affiliations, assured the Wife of the Governor that they will always support the administration of her Husband.
Also speaking at the interaction meeting, the State Secretary Anambra state Muslim Council Alhaji Ejoh commended the women and urged them
not to relent in supporting the Obiano administration and also be in the vanguard of fighting against corruption, child trafficking, slavery, child abuse among others for the betterment of the society.
