Since its premiere in 2014, the VS Class has become one of the most engaging Hip Hop series in Nigeria, converging budding MCs from all over the country to compete in rounds of lyrical battles on radio over a period of 6 weeks.
Besides the online audition system where interested participants are required to upload a minute clip video of their best bars on Instagram or Twitter, the 2017 edition will involve a live audition.
Talented emcees will be gathering at the Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja today for a chance to participate in the show.
Lyrical king and class master of The VS Class Season IV, Vector Tha Viper; BET award winning rapper and artiste, Falz D Bahd Guy; Afro-Hip Hop recording artist, Yung6ix and the first FemCee winner of The VS Class, Phlowetry will serve as judges at the live audition.
The winner will be named the MC of the year and an opportunity to sign a deal with a prime record label.
Last season we saw Holyfield emerge as winner, he is currently signed to Aristokrat Records with his debut album to be released this August.
The VS Class is Hennessy Nigeria’s platform to show appreciation to the music genre, to promote the Hip-hop culture and to discover talented MC with passion for the art in Nigeria.
