Makinde reveals plans to establish higher institution of learning in Iseyin

OYO State governor, Seyi Makinde, has revealed his intention to establish a higher institution of learning in Iseyin Loal Governmen Area of Oyo State.

The governor made the disclosure last Friday in Iseyin at the eighth day Fidau prayer for the late mother of the state’s chairman of the People’s Democatic Party (PDP), Alhaji Omokunmi Mustapha, held in Iseyin town.

He said that the announcement would be made in February.

He said “When I was campaigning for the governorship position, I made a promise here in Iseyin that we will establish a higher institution here. In six weeks from now, we will make the formal announcement.”
