I recently had an unprotected sex with an old girlfriend who is now a top executive of an international organisation. I was shocked when a few days after the act I had a brownish discharge in addition to a painful urination. I am at a loss on what to make of this especially in view of the social status of my sexual contact. Kindly advise.

The social status of your sexual contact notwithstanding, it is obvious that what you have is a Sexually Transmitted Infection. In order to know the correct cause and treatment of the infection, you will need to take a swab of your discharge and send it to a Laboratory for a proper analysis. From the laboratory report, your doctor will then give you an appropriate prescription for your ailment. Since your sexual contact may not be aware that she has an infection, it will be a good idea to inform her of your predicament and also get her treated.
