I am a 40- year-old teacher and a mother of two children. Since I am trying to lose some weight, I want to know if taking one meal a day is good enough for my health.

Generally, the amount of food you give your body usually depends on what kind of activity your body is undertaking. Some days, your body might want more food than on other days. It all depends on what’s going on. Some factors may include weather conditions, stress levels, how much sleep you got, how hydrated you are, what you are eating, how much you consumed last time you ate. While light meals may be okay when you are very active, large meals during periods of inactivity will make it harder to move and digest your food. It’s certainly possible, but it’s not as good for you. The important thing is to know your body and eat accordingly.
