Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi, Esuwoye II,
Traditional chiefs, indigenes and groups in the ancient town of Offa, Kwara state have commended the traditional ruler of the town, Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi, the Esuwoye II on the success of the annual Ijakadi day.
One of the community leaders in the area, who is also a traditional title holder, Chief Gafar Yemi Olagunju, said that since the resuscitation of the festival seven years ago, it has promoted cultural heritage of the ancient town, adding that it has enhanced socioeconomic and educational progress and development of Offa kingdom.
Chief Olagunju said that contributions of the Olofa of Offa to the socio-economic development of the area cannot be overemphasized.

He prayed to God to allow the traditional ruler to witness many more celebrations of the festival.
The traditional title holder of the Jagunmolu of Offa, Chief Olagunju, praised the Olofa for the development.
He then called on entire people of Offa to live in peace and harmony, saying that they should join hands with the Olofa and his chiefs to move the ancient town forward.
