Management of the Niger State-owned University, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai (IBBUL) announced the death of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Professor Mohammed Saba Mohammed after a brief illness.
According to a statement issued by the Registrar of the university, Mallam M A Abdullahi, and made available to Journalists on Monday in Minna, the deceased Prof S A Mohammed was a Professor of Sports Psychology.
The statement added that the late DVC, Administration, was a hard-working academic staff whose contributions to the growth of the university were immeasurable.
The Registrar thereby prayed that may the soul of the departed University Administrator rest in peace and may the Almighty Allah give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, the Jana’iza prayers of late Prof. Mohammed Saba Mohammed will take place at his residence in Tunga behind Dogon Koli Hotel adjacent NNPC Mega station, Minna.
