The city of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, is set to host the celebration of Afrocentric and aesthetic fashion.
This was revealed by the founder of I Touche Collectibles, Olowolaju Itunnu, during an interview with Sunday Tribune.
The event, entitled: “I Touche and Friends,” is to take place on October 13 at the New Culture Studio, Mokola, Ibadan.
Itunnu, whose brand I Touche Collectibles is renowned for blending Afrocentric and urban fashion, said the festival will host an array of fashion enthusiasts, both local and foreign.
“Beyond its aesthetic splendor, “I Touche and Friends” carries a meaningful mission. The event is geared towards raising awareness and generating funds for the Touché Live Foundation, an initiative dedicated to supporting underprivileged individuals within the community.”
He emphasised that “this festival transcends the mere display of exquisite fashion pieces; it’s a heartfelt endeavor to give back to the community that has shown immense support.”
