The expansion plan also includes opening eight new hgv training centres by early 2025, besides several training and testing facilities. It is intended to assist aspirational HGV drivers to get on the road with the necessary infrastructure to meet the demand for trained drivers and raise new standards in safety and training excellence. Those associated with the logistics industry will certainly have an easier life.

With a persistent driver shortage plaguing the UK, HGVC is positioning itself as a leader that walks the talk. The company has always understood the business challenges of the HGV sector and has actively brought solutions that not only solve current problems but also anticipate future industry needs. In an industry where logistics and transportation are under intense pressure, HGVC’s expansion comes at a time when it is determined to solve the ongoing driver shortage crisis.
Gary B, CEO of HGVC says, “As industry leaders, we recognise the importance of ensuring that there is a plentiful supply of well trained, safety conscious HGV drivers in the UK.” This £10 million investment shows our determination to resolve this problem for businesses across the UK and also enables us to establish new standards in driver training and ultimately to build a safer and more efficient workforce for the entire logistics sector,” he enthusiastically adds.
Safety and Excellence

With top-tier training to make drivers road-ready, these centres will cater to rising demands. HGVC’s investment in this demonstrates its commitment to quality, expanding its curriculum with hands-on training and state-of-the art simulations, continuing to be a leader in HGV instruction, and improving sector safety and efficiency.
Solving problems for the entire sector
