In bid to alleviate poverty and unemployment, Bomarah Group, led by CEO Hajiya (Dr) Idayat Bolanle Muse, has empowered 500 Yoruba women and youths in Kano with working tools and seed grants.
The empowerment programme, which included the distribution of sewing machines and seed grants, aims to make the beneficiaries self-reliant and employers of labor.
Hajiya Muse attributed her inspiration to the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which focuses on youth empowerment.
The event, attended by 300 women and 200 youths, is expected to have a transformative impact on the local economy.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude and vowed to honor Hajiya Muse’s benevolence by ensuring the success of their businesses and creating further employment opportunities.
This initiative highlights the importance of private sector intervention in addressing Nigeria’s economic challenges and demonstrates the potential for collective action to drive positive change.
