AHEAD of the governorship election holding in Osun State this Saturday, a group, Iwo Action Council (IWAC), said it is impressed with the resolve of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, to restore Osun to the path of sustainability if voted into office in the coming exercise.
IWAC, the umbrella body of all social groups and clubs in Iwo, numbering more than 200 active participating membership, said this at its general meeting which held at the Iwo City Hall, while giving its endorsement to the political ambition of the former secretary to the government as had been done by several other eminent social groups in the state.
Chairman, IWAC Committee on Finance, Mr Kabiru Adeniyi Adisa (aka Kulukulu), who spoke on behalf of the Council president, extolled Adeoti’s virtues, saying the council reached the consensus on him as members were convinced with his passion to turn around Osun’s fortunes.

He said members were very optimistic that “he (Adeoti) is the best man to move the state forward.”
According to him, Adeoti remains the most credible candidate in the race, whose acceptability among the electorate cannot be matched by other candidates or parties in the race, cautioning Osun people not to fall for the deceits of selfish politicians.
He pledged the council’s total support towards the actualisation of Adeoti’s ambition, noting that the group would activate their structures in Iwo as well as stretch its contacts in the state to work and ensure his emergence as the next governor of the state.
Adisa enjoined the electorate to consider the future of the state by voting Adeoti on September 22, calling them to shun any antics that would worsen economic and social sustainability of the state.
