Jigawa governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has approved the dismissal of his special assistance on Gender, Miss Khadija Sidi Suleiman from office.
This was announced by the Secretary to the state government, Malam Bala Ibrahim in a statement obtained by Online Tribune in Dutse, which said “Governor Malam Umar A Namadi has relieved Khadija Sidi Suleiman of her appointment as Special Assistant to the Governor on Gender with immediate effect”
According to the statement, “with this development, all rights and privileges
attached to her office as Special Assistant to the Governor on Gender, have been withdrawn”.
The statement further directed the former Special Assistant to immediately
hand over all government property in her possession to the office of the
Secretary to the Government of Jigawa state.
The statement is.silent on the reason of her dismissal but appreciated her for the service she rendered to the state and therefore wish her well in her future endeavors.
Miss Khadija Sidi Suleiman was formally staff of the state Radio and civil society activist and appointed as special assistant to the governor on gender among over one hundred special assistants.
The Sacked governor’s aid held from from the same town with governor Malam Namadi Kafin Hausa, Kafin Hausa local government area in the state.
Khadija is now the second governor Namadi’s assistant who had been removed from from within three months.
