Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has congratulated Dr. Danjuma Usman Kalba on his appointment as a Federal Permanent Secretary by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Governor described Dr. Kalba as a “highly skilled professional, seasoned administrator, and committed technocrat whose exceptional career trajectory has earned him this elevation.”
He commended President Tinubu for recognising Dr. Kalba’s expertise, experience, and integrity, adding that his appointment underscores the calibre of talents Gombe State continues to offer in national development.
The Governor remarked: “I am highly delighted and excited with the appointment of our illustrious son, Dr. Danjuma Kalba, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a Federal Permanent Secretary representing Gombe State.”
Inuwa Yahaya added that “his decades of exemplary service, from his role as Chief Consultant Grade 1 Urologist to Director of Urology at the State House Medical Centre, demonstrate his competence, diligence, and excellent leadership. This appointment is also a reflection of the immense potential of our dear state.”
While expressing confidence in the ability of the ‘Batarin Kaltungo’ to bring his exceptional track record of hard work and diligence to his new role, the Governor urged Dr. Kalba to continue representing Gombe State with honour and dignity and to further his legacy of service and professionalism.
He assured the newly appointed Permanent Secretary of the full support and solidarity of the government and people of Gombe State as he assumes this important role.
Dr. Danjuma Usman Kalba, a native of Kaltungo in Kaltungo Local Government Area, is a medical expert who has mentored numerous medical practitioners through specialised training in LASER surgery and endourology, leaving a significant mark on the profession, as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
