Provincial Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lagos Province 25, Debo Akande, has urged Nigerians to persevere in the faith to reap God’s blessings.
He states this at a parley with reporters, ahead of the annual breakthrough conference of the province, which begins tomorrow.
The conference, with the theme, Power to Get Wealth, holds at the RCCG Gateway Cathedral, KM 17, Otunba Runsewe Estate, Lagos, and will run from July 23 to 28, 2018, with ministers such as Pastor J.F. Odesola; Pastor Pitan Adeboye; Professor Patrick Fynn, and Pastor Adeniyi Daniel, as speakers.
According to Akande, if Nigerians dedicate themselves to God and exploring the boundless opportunities in the nation, they will surely work their way to greatness.
“There are so many blessings in Nigeria, but people don’t know, which is why many are striving to go abroad. If our people can discover God, then work on themselves to harness the opportunities, certainly they will become exceedingly great and productive.
“The key is not to give up but to keep pressing. As long as we keep going, we would certainly get there,” he stated.
Akande said the conference would have 10 free daily specialised vocational business training for those determined to run private businesses, as the conference was designed to be a destiny-moulding encounter for participants.
Chairman of the planning committee, Pastor Kunle Adegoke, hinted that more than 1,000 people had registered for the business training, noting that the conference was inspired by the church’s determination to tackle unemployment.
