Teens On Purpose International (TOP Int’l), a non-governmental organization (NGO) has expressed concern over the alarming rate of moral decadence among Nigerian youths.
Speaking on this development, The Founder, Mordecai Orimiladeye said this necessitated the need for the organisation to empower Nigerian youths with ‘The Purpose Driven Teenager’ book.
Mordecai explained that the book serves as a comprehensive guide, empowering young individuals to discover their purpose and pursue it with passion and dedication.
He added that the organization aimed to equip students with the necessary tools to lead purposeful lives and positively impact society by providing these resources.
Meanwhile, Orimiladeye touched on the initiative of TOP OUTREACH, aimed at educating and inspiring teenagers and young adults across Nigeria to discover and fulfill their purpose, while instilling a sense of responsibility and the importance of positive impact in their lives.
He explained that the initiative is dedicated to raising purpose-driven leaders who become agents of positive change, successfully concluded the 4th edition of their annual secondary school outreach.
According to him, TOP OUTREACH 4.0 proved to be a monumental success as the organization visited a staggering 35 schools across 13 states in Nigeria, leaving a lasting impact on over 10,000 secondary school students.
The states included Lagos, Ondo, Oyo, Cross River, Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Nasarawa, Delta, Ogun, Taraba, Osun, Abuja, and Kwara.
Mordecai stated that students were engaged in thought-provoking discussions about the significance of discovering purpose and becoming agents of positive change, adding that the sessions focused on fostering a sense of moral responsibility and addressing the prevalent moral, social, and educational challenges faced by today’s youth
