A non-governmental organization, Tosin Dada Foundation (TDF), has donated food items and cash to orphanages and covered the medical bills of some indigent patients at a hospital.
Speaking during the presentation of food items and cash at Basewell Orphanage and Motherless Babies Home in New Nyanya, Karu LGA, Nasarawa State, the founder of TDF, Dr. Tosin Dada, explained that the donation was part of the foundation’s mission to support the less privileged and vulnerable in society.
Dada stated that the foundation’s primary focus is to provide aid to children and pregnant women, ensuring they receive the necessary support and care.
He disclosed that a variety of gift items, including food, groceries, and toiletries, along with a cash gift of ₦100,000, were given to the orphanage home to encourage the children and to remind them that they are not forgotten.

Dada emphasized that the children’s current circumstances do not define their future.
He added that supporting orphanages and orphans helps advance children’s empowerment, literacy, wellness, and gives direction to their future.
The children expressed joy and gratitude to the foundation for the support, noting that the donations would go a long way in putting smiles on their faces and reassuring them that they are not neglected.
They remarked that the assistance came at a crucial time.
At the General Hospital in New Karu, the foundation also distributed food items and essential toiletries to all patients on admission and covered the medical bill for a patient with a severe fracture, as well as delivery costs for two expectant mothers.
Dada, who shared that the foundation’s motto is “Your kindness is someone else’s hope,” encouraged the patients to focus on their recovery, reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles.
He revealed that the foundation’s future visits would include new orphanages, hospitals, and internally displaced persons (IDP) camps to ensure that necessary aid reaches as many vulnerable groups as possible.
According to him, “This initiative is a beacon of hope, demonstrating the profound impact that compassion and generosity can have on the lives of those in need. We are committed to making significant strides in improving the well-being of vulnerable populations in Nasarawa and across Nigeria.”
