The residents who came out in their large number to show support for their beloved candidate restated how the Local Government benefited immensely from the first tenure of Kayode Fayemi as the governor of the State, and that’s why they’re showing him their full support again.
They also lamented the level of poverty and suffering they are witnessing under the present administration in the State.
An APC leader in the Local Government, Hon. Samuel Febisola while speaking to TribuneOnline condemned the attacks on some APC supporters by thugs who are believed to be working for a popular opposition party in the State.
Febisola stated some dividends that the people of Emure benefited under the Fayemi led administration during his first term in office, out of which he named “good roads, monthly social security scheme for the aged people, several political appointments, renovation of schools in the Local Government, prompt payment of workers salaries.”
The people have tested and compared the Fayemi-led administration and the Fayose-led administration, so they know the better one for them.
He said the people were gathered to give their full support to the best candidate who is capable of doing the job and who they believe would lead Ekiti out of its sorry state and deliver to them, the real dividends of democracy which is beyond stomach infrastructure.”
The former House of Assembly member who was also the chairman of the Local Government under the Fayemi led administration, further said that, “we are very confident of winning the Saturday’s election because we’ve done our campaigns outrightly and the people know our party to be peace-loving, so the victory is certainly ours by the grace of God.”
