An act, he said, does no one any good, Ayinla argued that the party abided by its stipulated rules to arrive at Senator Olufemi Lanlehin as its governorship candidate.

“For the umpteenth time, let me reiterate that the party is committed to genuine reconciliation as only a united party can be formidable to win the 2019 general elections.

“As a party, we would not hesitate to wedge a big stick to maintain party discipline as no amount of intimidation or pull Down syndrome would prevent ADC from winning 2019 elections. “The party Gubernatorial candidate remains Sen. Olufemi Lanlehin, while the party followed the dictates of our laws in arriving at candidates for other elective offices,” Ayinla said.
