Gov Obaseki
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo, Pastor Kennedy Osifo, has commended Governor Godwin Obaseki for ensuring victory for the party in last Saturday, local government elections held across the State.
He described the local government elections as a victory for Edo people, especially the people of his Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of the state.
Osifo, who is the immediate past chairman of the board of Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission, EDSOGPADEC, added that the election victory was a testamentary fact that Obaseki had done greatly in terms of transformational governance in the state.
He also commended the Secretary to the Edo State Government, Barr. Osarodion Ogie, for his focus, commitment, and proactive prowess in uniting the people and making PDP a formidable party in the locality, just as he had congratulated all the candidates who were victorious at the polls.
Osifo, specifically congratulated the Ikpoba-Okha council chairman of the council, Hon. Dr. Eric Osayande and the councillor representing Ward 7, Hon. Ebalogban on their victories at the poll.
He admonished them to use their victories as a roadmap to building on the Make Edo Great Again (MEGA) policy of Governor Obaseki in bringing the council area to an enviable level in terms of development.
Osifo, who gave insight about his tenure as EDSOGPADEC boss, attributed his achievements to the cooperation and leadership sagacity of the state governor, saying Obaseki is a people’s governor who listens to the hues and cries of the people of the State.
He solicits the support of the people for the governor to enable him consolidate his achievements before the expiration of his tenure next year.
