The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Dantata Foundation, Alhaji Shehu Isah Usman, has commended Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for his proactive strategies in addressing youth restiveness, armed banditry, kidnapping, and other social challenges in Niger State, particularly in Minna, the state capital.
In a statement obtained by journalists over the weekend in Minna, Usman praised the executive order issued by Governor Bago, describing it as both timely and appropriate in confronting the growing concerns of youth restiveness across the metropolitan areas.
He called on all stakeholders, including parents and community leaders, to collaborate with the state government to support these critical efforts.
Usman, who is also an aspirant for the Chanchaga Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2027 general elections, urged youths to act as role models and positive ambassadors for the state. He encouraged the youths of Chanchaga to uphold values such as lawfulness, discipline, diligence, and a strong community spirit, which he identified as crucial for personal and communal development.
