Making the call, recently, in Lagos at the 38th Annual Convention of the Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria, the Acting Supreme Knight, Bro. Diamond Ovueraye, argued that it had become imperative for the two arms of government to expedite action on the Same-Sex Bill, currently on the floor of the National Assembly, to enable the country to effectively stem the ugly tide, Attributing the increasing popularity of same-sex to falling family values in the country, Ovueraye explained that one of the aims of the convention, tagged Family Values, Human Rights and the challenges of Modernisation in Nigeria, was to sensitise the society to some of those issues presently confronting the average Nigerian family, with the aim of proffering solutions.
