A Chinese citizen Enroute Addis Ababa-Lagos via Ethiopian airline was, on Tuesday evening, quarantined on arrival at the Muritala Mohammed international airport, Lagos State after checks by Port health officials.
According to information gathered, the Chinese citizen, whose name was given as Si Wenqhuan, attracted attention as he was reported to be coughing on the flight and twice in the arrival hall.

He was immediately attended to by Port health officials, who at once separated him from other passengers, while officers of the Lagos state Center for Disease Control were alerted to carry out further tests on the Chinese citizen.
As at the time of filing this report, efforts were still ongoing to get more details on the passenger as a top management of the airport authority declared that they were still expecting the results from the Lagos State Center for Disease Control.
