The lawmaker representing Ogun Waterside State Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly (OGHA), Hon Lawal Samusideen recently made a 3-days tour to his constituency (Ogun Waterside) as part of his statutory obligations.
The tour saw him commissioning numerous life -touching and self-sponsored projects across the nook and cranny of Ogun Waterside LG Area in the State.
He visited and toured round the premises of the Ibiade General Hospital where he also offset the hospital bills of all the patients present during his visit.
Hon Lawal Samusideen frowned at the dilapidated nature of one of the oldest general hospital in Ogun State which was established dated back to the days of the Western Regional Government in Nigeria (precisely 18th May, 1960)
The lawmaker presented medical items to the hospital while he also promised to channeled all the request of the hospital management to the appropriate quarters in the State.
Other public health centres in Oni, Abigi, Iwopin and in other communities were visited, and medical items presented as well.
Hon Lawal also used the opportunity to orientate the pregnant women at the health centers about the ongoing State government health programme tagged “Ibidero”.
The lawmaker presented brand new generating set, solar street lights equipments and other utilities to some communities in Ogun Waterside.
Hon Lawal during his tour, simultaneously implemented the commencement of other constituency projects which he promised to come and commission soon.
He visited public primary schools where he presented cheques, cash gifts to pupils, notable individuals and organization that performed outstandingly and won trophies and medals for Ogun Waterside LG during the recent sports activity and other engagement.
The constituency tour also made the lawmaker to visit the minority communities living in the remote area of the local government in less than a year of assumption of office.
During the visit, the Ikales living in Aiyede, Ayila ,Lomiro and other remote communities described as a first of its kind of any representative they had voted for in the past.
The Ogun lawmaker ordered for immediate solution to combat the perennial flooding ravaging the Ayede and Ayila communities. He noted that he would continue to be a good representative for his people and that what is meant for them in terms of dividends of democracy will be brought to their doorsteps.
The Ilaje and Ikale communities described the Assemblyman as a “promise keeper and good ambassador” of all time. They also promised their bulk votes for the lawmaker whenever the time arises.
As part of his widow’s might to the muslim community, he gifted cash to them to augment their cost of livelihood in the ongoing ramadan fasting.
