I would like to say that I sympathise with the families of these worshippers that were killed at the church; I pray that God comforts them and grant them the fortitude to bear this painful loss. I would also like to say that this brutal act is very terrible and disheartening. The massacre of innocent lives that have gone to church to worship is the highest form of violence. Shall we say that the house of God is no longer safe to go to, or shall we say that worshipping God in public gatherings is prohibited? I urge the security forces in Anambra state government to leave no stone unturned in fishing out those involved in this inhuman act and let justice prevail. Adequate security should also be provided for all worship centers in Anambra State so that this kind of incidence would not repeat itself.
