Cleric to Nigerians: Be hopeful for better Nigeria

Sam Alo, the planter of Christ Apostolic Church, Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain, has urged Nigerians to abstain from sin and remain hopeful for a better Nigeria.

Alo also extended congratulations to Muslim faithful across the country for completing Ramadan and celebrating Eid-El-Fitr.

He encouraged Nigerians to pray for President Bola Tinubu’s government, as well as for the South West governors and their counterparts in other regions.

In his sermon delivered in Canada on Monday, the cleric expressed confidence that Nigeria will improve under the current administration.

In a goodwill message released on Tuesday and signed by his Personal Assistant, Deji Ogunbusuyi, Alo emphasized the importance of maintaining the high level of spirituality that characterized the Ramadan period throughout the entire year.

He said, “On behalf of the Adamimogo Outreach World-wide, I congratulate the Muslim Ummah on the Eid-el- Fitri celebration, and pray that Almighty Allah will accept our prayers, grant all our heart desires and preserve our lives to witness many more celebrations.

“I counsel all our Muslim brothers and sisters to put the teachings of the holy month to good use in all undertakings and I urge them and adherents of other religions to continue to live in love, peace, and harmony with one another as brothers and sisters.

“Ramadan is a season of discipline and sacrifice, while the Prophet urged Muslims to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr with modesty, he also emphasised the need to show love and care for the needy above any other form celebration.

“I also counsel Nigerians to be hopeful for a better Nigeria and to continue to pray for the Bola Tinubu administration to be able to put smile on faces of Nigerians.”

Alo encouraged Muslim faithfuls to extend hand of love to people of other religions and almsgiving in their relationship with one another, especially among the less privileged in the society.

The cleric urged them to continue the good work they have embarked on during the holy month by praying five times daily, imbibe the teachings and lesson of learnt during the period of the holy month of Ramadan.

He stated that prayers by the faithfuls are needed for country more than ever for God’s blessings and for greater level of peace and prosperity.
