THE Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has lambasted the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration for its insensitivity to Nigerians.

The group said Buhari does not have the capacity to sustain social stability, and infrastructural development in the country.

In a statement by MASSOB’s leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu, in Awka, where he said Buhari should be blamed for the woes of the Nation.

The statement read in part, “The governance styles and policies, including the ethnoreligious sentiments of President Buhari-led Federal Government of Nigeria, is the worst in the history of Nigeria.”

However, the Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, Anambra State, Most Rev Alexander Ibezim, has said that Buhari should not be blamed for the travails of the country.

The bishop, who disagreed with MASSOB’s position, said one individual should not be faulted for Nigeria’s travails.

Ibezim spoke while delivering his New Year message at a press conference in Awka, the capital city of Anambra State.

The Bishop said, “We tend to blame one individual for the country’s woes.

“This is wrong. If all Nigerians performed their responsibilities well, governance will be easy and simple to operate, he added.
