The early weeks of the new season of Big Brother Naija have already seen surprising and unexpected twists, including some housemates expressing their desire to voluntarily leave the house despite the enticing grand prize of 120 million Naira.
Here are four housemates who have considered a voluntary exit from the BBNaija Allstars house.
Angel
The conflict arose when Angel confronted Ilebaye about allegedly peeling off paint from her body and placing it into Angel’s belongings. This incident ignited a heated exchange of words between the two housemates.
Ilebaye accused Angel of deliberately provoking her due to her quiet and younger demeanour in the house.
The argument escalated to the point where Angel was visibly upset and even began packing her belongings, indicating her intention to voluntarily leave the competition.
However, Angel’s decision to leave was met with intervention from her fellow housemates Venita and Mercy Eke.
They reminded her of the significant opportunity to win the grand prize of 120 million Naira and urged her not to make a hasty decision based on a simple disagreement with another contestant.

Pere
Pere found himself in a heated argument with fellow housemate Adekunle during the Head of House game.
The altercation led Pere to consider a voluntary exit from the show due to the intense dispute that arose between them.
The conflict between Pere and Adekunle was sparked when Pere accused Adekunle of “cheating” during the Head of House game. The argument escalated quickly, with tensions running high as they exchanged words.
Following the altercation, Pere expressed his frustration during his diary session. He recounted the incident to Big Brother during his diary session, claiming that Adekunle had lightly shoved him while he was attempting to pour sand into his bin.
He said: “I was angry, and it made me feel the entire house was against me. I won’t let them win.
The Pepper Dem faction and others didn’t want me to be HOH. They’re scared. It’s like they enjoy the chaos and disorderliness, and they know that I’ll bring all that to a halt.
I almost left yesterday. It took so much control to restrain me from doing something that’ll jeopardise my stay here.”

Lucy
During her first diary session on Tuesday, Lucy revealed her intention to leave the house due to a heated argument she had with fellow guest housemate Kim Oprah.
Lucy explained that the argument with Kim Oprah had upset her, as Kim accused her of acting like she knew everything during their task.
This confrontation seemingly triggered Lucy’s emotions, and she mentioned that she was worried that her stay in the house might lead to a physical altercation with another housemate.
When Lucy’s desire to leave the house was presented to Big Brother, he asked for further clarification on her decision.
Lucy confirmed her seriousness about leaving and expressed her discomfort with the current situation. Big Brother informed Lucy that he would need to discuss the matter with the production team before making a decision.
Lucy’s request for a voluntary exit has surprised many viewers, as she had only recently entered the house and had not yet had a substantial impact on the game.

Frodd
In a conversation with his fellow housemate, Whitemoney, Frodd expressed his feelings of missing intimacy with his partner.
He mentioned that he was considering seeking a voluntary exit from the show because he had not anticipated the challenges he was facing, particularly the loneliness.
During the conversation, Frodd conveyed his unexpected experience of isolation and loneliness in the house, which seemed to be affecting his emotional well-being.
His comments about missing intimacy and his thoughts on leaving the show for that reason garnered attention from viewers and sparked conversations online.
Not stopping there, Frodd added in Igbo dialect that his genitals are shrinking.
He said: “Oh God! I’m sleeping alone. I need to collect a voluntary exit from this house. I did not anticipate all these things…”
