The Big Brother Naija Allstars housemates recently undertook the ‘PADI AWARDS’ task sponsored by Aquafina, a challenge that brought out various emotions and showcased the housemates’ sentimental sides.
The task was divided into two stages, where the housemates were organised into teams and had to work collaboratively to complete the task.
In the initial stage, the housemates were paired up and were required to exchange affirmations with their assigned partners, solidifying their bond as the ‘surest Padi’ (best friend).
The second stage entailed the housemates being assigned to different teams, and within these teams, they had to present awards to their fellow housemates, both male and female, in categories they deemed fitting.
Here’s a breakdown of the teams and the award categories:
Team Transparent:
- Adekunle awarded Venita.
- Mercy awarded Frood.
Team Purity:
- Frood awarded Mercy Eke.
- Alex awarded Whitemoney.
Team Clear:
- Doyin awarded Adekunle.
- Seyi awarded Venita.
Team International:
- Tolani Baj awarded Kiddwaya.
- Cross awarded Ceec.
Team Trustworthy:
- Whitemoney awarded Mercy.
- Angel awarded Soma.
Team Refreshing:
- Ike awarded Tolani Baj.
- Kiddwaya awarded Doyin.
Team Crisp:
- Ceec awarded Seyi.
- Neo awarded Angel.
Team Nurturing:
- Soma awarded Angel.
- Venita awarded Seyi.
Team Premium:
- Ilebaye awarded Neo.
- Pere awarded Ceec.
Upon completion of the task, Biggie acknowledged the housemates’ efforts and announced that instead of a single winning team, three teams would be recognised as winners for this particular task. These three teams are:
- Team Nurturing, consisting of Soma and Venita, with Angel and Seyi as the winners in this category.
- Team Clear, consisting of Doyin and Seyi, with Adekunle and Venita as the winners in this category.
- Team Purity, consisting of Frood and Alex, with Mercy Eke and Whitemoney as the winners in this category.
The task underscored the bonds formed between the housemates and provided an opportunity for them to showcase their appreciation for one another through creative award presentations.
