Chairperson of Toro Local Government Council in Bauchi State, Hon. Pharm Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo, has stated that the 20 Councils Chairpersons in the State are enjoying autonomy as outlined by the relevant provisions of the country.
He commended State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his commitment to decentralisation of governance as required by the laws of the country.
The Toro Council Chairperson made the declaration during the flag-off ceremony of distribution of fHospital Equipment, Drugs, School Chairs and Learning Materials held at the Council Secretariat.

Ibrahim Dembo praised the Governor’s efforts at promoting development and growth in the area and state at large.
The Chairperson has been Instrumental in lromoting development and growth In the area since his election and subsequent inauguration.
The event featured the distribution of essential Items to relevant bodies, demonstrating the Council’s efforts to improve the lives of its residents.
Ibrahim Dembo also pledged his loyalty and support to the Governor and the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the State.
