Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has approved the appointment of Hajiya Ladi Mohammed Hamma as the new Project Coordinator for the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE).
Hajiya Ladi Mohammed Hamma replaces Alhaji Ali Sule Gar in the role, with the appointment taking effect immediately.
The announcement was made by the Commissioner for Education, Dr Lawal Mohammed Rimin Zayam, who confirmed that the official handover ceremony took place at his office.
Lawal Rimin Zayam emphasised that education remains a top priority for the Bauchi State Government under the leadership of Senator Bala Mohammed.
He expressed gratitude to the outgoing project coordinator, Alhaji Ali Sule Gar, for his invaluable contributions to the success of the AGILE project during his tenure.
The Commissioner urged the newly appointed Project Coordinator to accelerate efforts and ensure inclusivity in driving the initiative forward, stressing the importance of teamwork and dedication to achieving the project’s goals.
In her acceptance remarks, Hajiya Ladi Mohammed Hamma expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.
She also extended her appreciation to Governor Bala Mohammed and the Commissioner for Education for entrusting her with this responsibility.
Hajiya Ladi pledged to do her utmost to justify the confidence placed in her by His Excellency and the people of Bauchi State, vowing to advance the objectives of the AGILE project for the benefit of adolescent girls and the broader community, as stated in a statement by Jalaludeen Usman, Information and Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Ministry of Education.
