THE new Police Commissioner for Bauchi State Command, Ali Aji Janga has warned Officers in the Command that, he will not condone any act of indiscipline or corruption among them just as he declared that, no officer will be spared if found wanting in that regard.
The Police Commissioner gave the warning in his maiden address to the officers urging them to conduct themselves professionally in the discharge of their statutory responsibility of maintenance of peace and order in the state.
With regards to the menace of political thugs popularly known as ‘Sara-Suka’ which is considered as one of the major security challenges in Bauchi metropolis, the CP, vowed to deal with the problem squarely in accordance with the laws of the country.

On the preparations for the forthcoming 2019 general elections and ongoing electioneering campaigns by political parties and their candidates, the CP warned the officers against a demonstration of partisanship as he reminded them that, the role of the Police in an election is only to provide security for the success of the entire process.
It would be recalled that a press release signed and released by the Command PPRO, DSP KAMAL DATTI ABUBAKAR had conveyed the posting of the new Police Commissioner to the Command to replace the former one has proceeded to NIPSS for an Executive course.
