THE Association of Registered Social Youths Club (ARSOYOC) Oyo State has presented a pathfinder award to Honourable Sijuola Rasaq in recognition of his community development services.
Also honoured was a former governor of Oyo State, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Ladoja.
The award was presented to Sijuola, who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Sijuola Social Development Foundation, based on his contributions to the development of sports in Akinyele Local Government and youth empowerment in Oyo State.
The event took place during the 20th anniversary of ARSOYOC, which took place at Local Government House Training Hall, Secretariat, Ibadan.
.Oba Ladoja was represented by his wife, Chief (Mrs) Habibat Ladoja.
Mrs Ladoja received the award in the company of Chief Taye Soyege and Chief Yewande Durosaro, the Balogun Iyalode of Ibadanland and Osi Iyalode of Ibadanland, respectively.
Sijuola was represented by the coordinator, Sijuola Social Development Foundation, Comrade Akintola Temitope, alongside Comrades Ajao Ismail Abidemi, Dahunsi Seun and other dignitaries.
While speaking, ARSOYOC chairman, Comrade Nurudeen Farayola noted that Sijuola’s blueprints in people’s lives cannot be underated, as he has helped and supported many families, both locally and internationally, most especially in the Akinyele local government area.
Farayola praised Sijuola’s exemplary behaviour and outstanding contributions to the community, acknowledging his dedication to humanitarian services.
