In a significant display of support, 60 support groups, representing 120,000 members under the banner of All Soludo Support Groups (ASSG), have endorsed Governor Charles Soludo’s bid for a second term.
The groups presented an impressive thirty million naira to the Governor at the International Convention Centre in Awka on Thursday to back his re-election campaign.
Governor Soludo, clearly touched by the gesture, shared that there is a strong consensus among community leaders, APGA stakeholders, youths, and students urging him to seek a second term.
He attributed this consensus to the visible developments and projects initiated by his administration, which have positively impacted the lives of Anambra residents.
The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining the vision of “One State, One People, One Agenda,” emphasizing the need to prioritize the welfare of ndi Anambra and complete projects that have transformed the state. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the support groups and their leadership.
The Coordinator of the All Soludo Support Group, Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, accompanied by other conveners, pledged their support for the Governor in realizing his manifesto and vision for the state.
In their separate remarks, the convener of the APGA FAN Club International, Hon. Chief Obiajulu Nwoye; the convener of Youth Earnestly Support Soludo (YESS), Dr. Nelson Obinna Omenugha; the State Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Izuxhukwu Okafor; and the convener of Solution Vanguard, Chief Vin Ezeaka, expressed their deep satisfaction with the outstanding achievements of the administration, affirming that they had made the right choice in supporting the Governor’s first term.
They noted that the primary goal of ASSG is to mobilize support for the Governor’s second term bid, enabling him to realize his vision of making Anambra a clean, green, smart, secure, livable, and prosperous state in Nigeria.
