THIRTY-EIGHT ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports in Lagos from April 4 to April 28.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said this in its publication `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Lagos on Wednesday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 14 of the expected 38 ships would sail in with petrol.

NPA explained that the remaining 24 ships contained bulk wheat, fertiliser, butane, bulk sugar, bulk salt, steel products, frozen fish, empty containers, soya beans, general cargo and containers laden with goods.
According to the report, 11 other ships have arrived the ports waiting to berth with general cargo, bulk fertiliser and petrol.
