Of this number, 3,200,000.00 cases were resolved amicably by the State Ministry of Women Affairs, Community and Social Development.
The Commissioner for the Ministry, Reverend (Mrs.) Omatsola Williams, who disclosed this while briefing newsmen in Asaba said the ministry also rendered guidance and counseling services to over 1,500,000 troubled families.

According to her, 136 children were adopted from different approved orphanages from a total of 693 applications received, adding that the applications passed through rigorous process before the children were released.
Rev. (Mrs.) Williams disclosed that over 510 mentally challenged destitute were evacuated from the streets and highways of the state to the seven government approved psychiatric healing homes for care and treatments even as over 70 of them had been discharged and reunited with their families.
On grant to women living with HIV/AIDS, the commissioner stated that a total of 300 women benefited from the scheme, stressing that 66 communities received over N477,630,563.00 for community driven development social implementation.
